Applications Developer
The right candidate will work on a team developing enterprise WPF applications deployed to our facilities around the world. The front-end will utilize WPF/XAML with the middle tier in Entity Framework and Windows Communication Foundation. The candidate should have a passion for user experience design as well as coding. Interested in pursuing your Microsoft certification? Samtec will provide training and pay certification testing costs to help you meet your goals.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of professional application development experience with C#, SQL Server, WPF/XAML, LINQ, Entity Framework, WCF (Experience and proficiency of technologies will be considered in determining compensation.)
• Design Patterns such as MVVM, Singleton, and Factory
• Strong oral, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Desire to work in an agile, fast paced, pay for performance environment.
Valuable Skills:
• Mentoring less experienced developers
• iPhone/iPad User Interface Design Experience
• Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design/prototyping application
