Process Engineer
Location: Penang, Malaysia
JOB SUMMARY:
Samtec Malaysia is seeking a high-caliber Process Engineer. The primary responsibility of this position is to determine the most effective ways to use the basic factors of production - man, method, material and machine to produce quality products. Other responsibilities include working in a multi-disciplinary team to troubleshoot and/or improve production related problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Learn product requirements and ensure they are met
- Solve production efficiently issues that arise within the organization
- Provide recommendations on how to improve productivity
- Communicate with other staff members and management on ways of implementing plans and recommendations
- Mature, energetic individual, service-minded, team-oriented, result-oriented and good initiative with hands-on positive attitude when completing tasks
- Degree or equivalent in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering
- 6-Sigma Green Belt holder
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate well and work independently
