Product Innovation, Marketing, & Development
Samtec is currently seeking enthusiastic and innovative individuals for openings in Product Innovation and Development. Applicants must have strong business acumen, a technical propensity, and strong project management skills. These positions require an understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix as well as interrelated business functions; and the ability to understand the technical nature of our industry and spot new product opportunities and markets worth pursuing.
Core duties and responsibilities include:
• Coordination and execution of project deliverables with limited supervision
• Design, develop, and improve new or existing products
• Industry, market, and product-level research
• Identifying areas of improvement within product marketing development
• Identify and lead new product innovations working directly with engineering and marketing.
• Project tracking and management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or degree in progress is preferred but not required
• Will also consider Intern / Co-op on case-by-case basis
• Individuals must have strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Must have effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of web/new technologies
