Supplier Quality Engineer
LOCATION: Alejuela, Costa Rica
JOB SUMMARY: This position will investigate component quality problems as well as being responsible for maintaining quality levels within a given area for internal stamping or molding. Investigations will include testing, process verification and engineering reviews. This position will work with managers and engineering groups to solve quality problems both internally and externally.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
* QP Review Board Administrator
* Investigations to root cause
* Corrective Action Requests both internal and supplier
* Communication of actions
* Containment of problems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
* Must be able to develop good working relationships with internal and external people
* Must have great verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to use data to support theory
* High mechanical score
REQUIRED TRAINING AND EDUCATION:
Training
* – QP, ECR, PCN, EPMS, PrintVu/Vault, SFC, Samtec Inventory and elab
* Practical experience in the above systems helpful
* SamtecWorks – 10 Day
Education
* High School Diploma with some post HS technical course work
* BS Degree Preferred
