Micro IDC Available from Samtec

Samtec’s micro IDC system with contacts on .050” (1,27mm) x .050” (1,27mm) pitch (FFSD Series) is available in double row designs. This cable assembly measures only 5mm (.200”) tall fully assembled for the lowest possible profile.

It features four-finger Beryllium Copper contacts with from 10 to 25 positions per row. Notch polarization is standard. A mating through-hole or surface mount terminal strip (FTS Series) provides a .250” (6,35mm) mated height above the board.

An IDC system with contacts on 2mm (.0787”) x 2mm (.0787”) pitch is also available from Samtec. The double row plug (TCMD Series) features 0,50mm (.020”) square Phosphor Bronze pins with 2 to 25 positions per row. Notch and position polarization are available as standard options. These cable assemblies measures only 5mm (.200”) fully assembled for the lowest possible profile. It will mate with a number of Samtec through-hole and surface mount socket strips.

Samtec’s proven 2mm (.0787”) socket IDC assemblies (TCSD Series) with Tiger-Eye contacts are available in single-end, double-end and transfer-end designs with a socket on one end and a terminal on other.
